Did you leave a sign outside Miller Hall over break? If so, let's talk.

Miller Hall from last fall.
Miller Hall seen last fall. This is probably not where the sign was found. Ricky Rath// AS Review

Around 8 a.m. on December 28, University Police responded to “suspicious sign” left outside Miller Hall, according to a police log entry mysteriously filed under “Wind Storm“.

The sign read, “How many incidents does it take for you to care?”

It is unclear what the sign was referring to. Perhaps issues with how Western has handled sexual assault cases? Or hate flyers directed towards Muslim students that have been appearing in Haggard Hall?Either way, it was disposed of by University Police who determined that it “posed no threat to the community.”

Did you leave the sign there? What were you referring to? Let us know at as.review.editor@wwu.edu or message us on Facebook or Twitter.
