Mike Anker
I am Mike Anker, and I am running for the Associated Student Senate position of VP for Activities. Activities this next year will be essential to student reconnection with the Western identity and community. As your VP of Activities, I will provide a safe and fun environment for both returning and new Vikings. Our student body is currently scattered across the globe, but as an optimist I believe that we will reconvene on campus by Fall. I want to be the person that creates, plans, and acquires funds to make events and activities fun for all students finding their way back to Bellingham and the Western Campus. As a current business student with more than 4 years of work experience, I am confident in my ability to provide consistent and appropriate funding for our future events and activities. I hope to see all of you on campus soon, thank you.
Mallory Schaefbauer
Hey viks! I’m Mallory Schaefbauer and I’m running for AS VP for Activities. In the fall I will be in my second year here. Having spent my first year online, I am passionate about making the transition back to in person fun and safe for everyone. I have held leadership positions in past years and I love working with a team of people to accomplish a goal for the betterment of my community. I want to serve you as AS VP for Activities because I want to make connections with my fellows students and create spaces for people to belong in. I’m looking forward to serving you soon!
