Dear WWU Students,
We would be remiss if we did not acknowledge what has been going on, on our campus as of late with the encampment and protests surrounding Palestine and Gaza.
With this shift, our efforts to focus on the on-going genocide happening in Palestine and the Gaza Strip will be through various multimedia that provides insight on first-hand Palestinian experiences, triumphs, joys, and challenges that highlight their stories.
This page on our website has been created to consolidate the information that has been pooled by our Wavelength staff. We will have various content surrounding topics where we will publish resources and ways to support those who are affected, read on-the-ground testimonies from those in Palestine, a resource collection of this history, an alternative library (digital + physical), as well as celebrating the joys of Palestinian experiences and its’ vibrant culture.
We condemn all forms of genocide and cultural erasure of ANY community and will not stand in its complicity.
