Club Hub announces winner of the second-ever Club Cup

On Wednesday, May 24, at 4 p.m. in the VU MPR, the annual AS End-of-the-Year Club Award Ceremony was held. This ceremony in particular was notable for the announcement of the winners of the AS Club Cup–a competition meant to honor clubs that organized successful events and had high participation from members. The trophy for this award is still shiny, since it’s only in its second year.
The winner for 2016 was Viking Radio Theater, a club that inspires students to write and perform traditional radio plays.
According to the AS Club Hub’s leaderboard, this year’s winner was WWU Quidditch. This magical club is known for bringing the mythical “Harry Potter” sport to campus. Don’t be fooled by the whimsical name however, because Quidditch is a serious game, with strict rules and regulations. WWU Quidditch is the home of the Western Wyverns, a dedicated group who are sure to be flying high after their victory in the Club Cup.
